These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Davy Han ("we," "us," "our"), the operator of Wuva, governing your use of the App. By creating an account or using Wuva, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Wuva account — or older, if your country sets a higher minimum age for using online services without a parent's consent (up to 16 in some EEA countries). If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use Wuva with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using Wuva, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Wuva lets people you trust ("your Circle") send you reminders at a priority level you've agreed to accept — from a quiet notification up to a critical, alarm-style alert intended to wake your device even when it's silenced. You control who's allowed to send you what, and when.
Wuva is also not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any reminder content referencing medication, health, or care routines is ordinary text written by you or another user — we do not review, verify, or guarantee its accuracy.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Any user can remove, block, or report someone from that person's page in their Circle; blocking stops that person from sending further reminders, requesting their location, or reconnecting. We review every report within 24 hours and may remove offending content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
Wuva Premium is an optional subscription that unlocks Strong and Emergency reminders and repeating reminders. Every new account gets Wuva Premium free for its first 30 days, with no purchase required. After that, creating those reminders requires a subscription; one-time Silent and Normal reminders, and everything on the receiving side (receiving and replying to reminders, your Circle, emergency location requests), stay free. Repeating reminders you created while you had Wuva Premium keep working after it ends.
Subscriptions are billed and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play (not by us directly):
Wuva, its design, logo, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of the reminder content you write; you grant us the limited right to store and transmit it solely to operate the App.
Wuva relies on Apple, Google, and RevenueCat to deliver notifications and process subscriptions (see our Privacy Policy for details). Your use of those platforms' sign-in and payment features is also subject to their own terms.
Wuva is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any reminder — including a critical/Emergency-tier alert — will be delivered or will actually wake or alert the intended recipient.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Wuva — including any harm resulting from a reminder or alert (of any priority level, including Emergency) that was delayed, not delivered, or did not wake or notify its intended recipient. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or damages, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the App.
You may stop using Wuva and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the App (or any feature) at any time; where practical, we'll provide notice in advance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to the next paragraph, any dispute arising out of these Terms or the App will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer-protection rights you have that can't be waived under the laws of the place where you live — including your province or territory in Canada, your state in the United States, or your country in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. Where those laws give you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts, you may do so.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continuing to use Wuva after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
